It is with great pleasure, I announce the seven new members who have accepted their bids to join the brothers of the Virginia Xi chapter in their collegiate years and on. This year was an still a little bit of a challenge for our Vice-President of Recruitment, Chris Shelton, with things opening back up and reintroducing SigEp to a new campus! It is through his hard work and the continuous effort and support of the recruitment committee, that we were able to recruit so well. So, without further ado, here are the seven new members of the Virginia Xi Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon.
First up is John Bowman, a sophomore, who has traveled from Henrico County in Richmond, Virginia and is in full pursuit of his love for the truth as he is majoring in Criminal Justice. John is ecstatic to be joining our chapter and fraternity!
Our second new member to be joining us this fall is Ryan Allen, a freshman, who comes to us from Colonial Beach, Virginia in pursuit of a Mechanical Engineering Degree! Ryan is so excited to be joining Sigma Phi Epsilon and cannot wait to make his mark in our chapter!
Ben Leonard, our third newest member, is a senior and another local, coming to us from Suffolk, Virginia. Ben is using his love of science to pursue a degree in Biology! He may only be in our chapter for a short amount of time, but he has already left such a big impact on all of us!
Will Sprowl is our fourth newest member and has traveled the farthest out of all of our new members, coming in from Patrick Country, Virginia. Will played football in high school and is following his love for the game by majoring in Sports Management.
Brandon Stokes, our fifth newest member, is a sophomore from Fredericksburg, Virginia. Brandon is unique in his major of Modeling and Stimulation and we cannot wait to see him grow and thrive in our chapter and SigEp as a whole!
Our sixth newest member is Ryan Twomey, a junior, who comes from Warrington, Virginia. Ryan came to Old Dominion University to pursue a major in Exercise Science and he’s been such a great addition to chapter already and we cannot wait to see him grow here!
Last, but certainly not least, is our seventh newest member, Jeremy Scherer who is currently a sophomore here at Old Dominion University. Jeremy is studying in Ocean and Earth Science after his passion for science and the environment.
To say the least, we are excited to see these young men develop in our chapter, and continue on the great path our chapter is on currently. VDBL
